Creating '_' in S/R modes

This is something that I've also desired.  I have sometimes switched to a
text buffer, typed the underscore, then copied that underscore to the
kill-ring, switch back to ESS and yank the kill ring.  Laborious.

Your email inspired me to think of a better way...I think I'll map C-_ (or
maybe control-hyphen) to the underscore.
