Creating '_' in S/R mode

I vote for that. It is sometimes necessary to use the '_' character and it
is not easy to do so with the current behaviour of automatically changing '
_' to ' <- '. A related topic: I don't like changing 'any number of
spaces_' to 'one space<-one space'; I like to align my '<-', it makes
programs more readable. With the current behaviour I have to go back and
reinsert the desired number of spaces manually!
