Dear People,
When trying to use help() from R within emacs (using ESS, naturally), I
get the following error
"ESS process not ready. Finish your command before trying again".
I'm using Debian (2.2r4) and the versions of the relevant packages is as
follows. The problem appears to be strictly an emacs one, since it works
fine when R is invoked from the command line. help() seems to use some
kind of pager by default when R is invoked from the command line, so the
problem probably lies there. Can anybody suggest a fix?
