using help() from R within emacs

The bug is due to a change in emacs between the pretest 21.0.105 and the
released version 21.1.1. We know the location of the change but haven
t figured out the best way to respond to it.

The workaround is this:
Use C-c C-v commandname
this works as always. Using ?commandname from the R prompt is temporarily
broken.

A second workaround is to go back to 21.0.105 or 20.x until we repair this.
