[ESS] Mac OSX 10.10.1 Yosemite can't find R

Try

M-x shell

and then start R within the shell by typing "R".

If that works, its then an ESS problem.

if that fails (which is my hope!) maybe Emacs has not been initialised
with the right environment variables.
