[ESS] Emacs taking over CPU (Frank Harrell)

Hello,

I also experience a similar problem with Emacs and ESS with GNU Emacs
24.3.1 (amd64-portbld-freebsd9.1, GTK+ Version 2.24.19). Very sporadic,
but just happened now.
