[ESS] ESS installation (Windows) problem

You have an oldish version of Emacs. Make yourself a favor and use my distribution of Emacs with ESS bundled:

	http://vgoulet.act.ulaval.ca/emacs

The distribution will define the HOME folder and this is where you should put the .emacs file, should you ever need it (you won't to activate ESS). Just pay attention to the post-install messages.

I'll update the distribution to 23.3 in a few days. It's spring break for the family and we're enjoying Jay Peak.

Cheers,

Vincent
