[ESS] Announcement: New ESS Homepage

Dear ESS users and lovers,

thanks to  Wilmar Igl   and  Domenico Vistocco

the ESS project has now got a new "shiny" home page at

    http://ess.r-project.org/
    -------------------------

Praises etc are very welcome, and we (Domenico and Wilmar) also
welcome constructive suggestions for improvement.

{For historical interest, the old page is still "available" at
 http://ess.r-project.org/OLD/  ... however with several of its
 internal *relative* links no longer working}.
