R interface

Hello,

I am a newbie on using Xemacs as a interface with R. I have followed John 
Fox's instructions and I get the following : both windows open (scratch, 
iESS) when I send R input to Xemacs I get a "Finished evaluation" message 
on the minifbuffer. The iESS window shows all the usual R messages but no 
prompt. However, if I launch a new R process and send the input to the R:2 
buffer everything works fine. Any ideas on what is happening?
