Hi all,
I've been using ESS to edit code for R and S and been lovin' it. I just started
using SAS, and so far things are going well. I wanted to get a run-down on the
ESS/SAS features, but the link 'Using SAS' in the online documentation for ESS
doesn't seem to work. I've tried through:
http://www.stat.math.ethz.ch/ESS/Manual/ess_toc.html#TOC50
but whenever I click on 'Using SAS' I go in circles. Does anyone know of
anywhere else I can get a general intro to using SAS in ESS?
I was also wondering if it is possible to use ESS to run an inferior SAS/S
process on a remote machine. IE. I want to run XEMACS/ESS on one machine (my
slow linux box at home) but have the inferior proces, eg. S, running on a
different machine connected by modem. Is this possible?
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Simon
