Sorry, my fault. The ".exe" shouldn't be written. I seem to remember that I
made this mistake in the 1st version I sent to the list, but corrected in
the 2nd version. Thus try:

(setq-default inferior-R-program-name "C:/rw1022/bin/Rterm"); msdos systems


(BTW: the line # must be 250... I suspect you refer to the 1st instuctions
I sent [those about ESS 5.1.8]; have a look at my 2nd message, and use ESS
5.1.18 and Emacs 20.7)
