Thanks for the response and advice, I will follow it up. I have also 
discovered since posting my original question, just how out of date the 
software is, and I am down loading the updated versions as I type.

Its in the stats directory because I downloaded it specifically for R. 
However, I will take your advice and re-think, when I install the 
updated versions.
