Switching to help-buffer and maximising: Ctrl-x o Ctrl-x 1
Back to R without killing: Ctrl-x b RET
With killing: Ctrt-x k RET
(You get a lot of help-buffer sif you don't kill them.)

7 keystrokes to go to help and back.

With fvwm, using Netscape, it's a single keystroke to switch
from the virtual screen that has Emacs to the virtual screen
that has Netscape, and a single keystroke to switch back.

2 keystrokes to go to help and back.

With RSI, it's anoying to do with seven keystrokes, what can be
done with two. It's the main reason why I often don't use ESS.
