[R-sig-ME] Something broken in lme4 after update?

Dear Douglas,
After updating the R packages I get on error when loading lme4. Error in
inDL(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now), ...) : function
'cholmod_start' not provided by package 'Matrix' Error:
package/namespace load failed for 'lme4'
You'll find more detail below. This was run in a fresh R session. I have
lme4 version 0.999375-27 installed.
