[R-SIG-Finance] RBloomberg update on "Error in dimnames(x) <- dn : 'dimnames' applied to non-array"

Hi there,

Was wondering if you had managed to fix the issue quoted above with the
version of rJava being used with RBloomberg.

"Error in dimnames(x) <- dn : 'dimnames' applied to non-array"

I have attempted to install the earlier version of rJava as you suggested,
but I get the following.

Error in gzfile(file, "r") : cannot open the connection
In addition: Warning message:
In gzfile(file, "r") :
  cannot open compressed file 'rJava_0.8-8.tar/DESCRIPTION', probable reason
'No such file or directory'

Do you have any ideas as to what might be going wrong with the manual
install of rJava_08-8 ?
