[R] Alternating between "for loops"

Hello,
Maybe something along the lines of
J <- 10
cols <- rep(c(TRUE, TRUE, FALSE, FALSE), 3)[seq_len(J)]
for(i in which(cols)) { do something }
for(i in which(!cols)) { do something else }
