[R] boxplot with diamond shape

Perhaps, even prejudicially, as I cannot see any advantage on the 
diamond shape for displaying just two dimensions, I would recommend you 
check if plotCI from plotrix package, or even better plotmeans from 
gplots package which does it more automatically, doesn't suffice for 
your needs.
