[R] png and pdf : point size, font size, etc.

Since bitmap() used postscript, you may as well use PDF and convert to
PNG (and bitmap in R-devel uses this as an option).
I've no idea about the size differences, and we don't have a reproducible
example. Again, R-devel offers many more options.
