You probably should give us some more infromation
about the problem. How is the data stored: text file,
spreadsheet, database?
help("read.table")
or
?read.table
for a start.
However with a csv file try something like
cat, dog, bird
3, 4, 3
2, 7, 5
mydata <- read.table("junk.csv", header=TRUE,
sep=",")
should work.
