[R] about .RData

Dear Sir/Madam:
I got a question about this .RData.

I wrote a R program and run it with:
nohup R BATCH a.R &
in Unix system.

However, each time it generate a .RData file, which is huge.
I add "remove" to my code, but this .RData is still there.

My question is: how can I avoid this .RData file automatically?
