[R] Error in get(x, envir, mode, inherits)

You don't have to use bug.report to send in a bug: you can just produce
a report and extract from it. The information _is_ very useful, though.
For example, on Windows it tells us exactly which version of Windows
is being used (in so far as Windows itself knows ...).

You can also use it to send to R-help: it has an address= argument.

If you use it on Windows, it will mail nowhere. On Unix you can set
method="none", and then you get the same behaviour as on Windows, that is
an editor is opened to write the message, and the file is saved (but not
sent).  (I have to use this, as on a dial-up PPP connection from home the
mail option generates a header that security on our mail server rejects.)
