[ESS] ESS SAS not starting with Emacs 26 and conda

I just switched to emacs 26 and updated my ess to 18.10. When my company switched versions of emacs (from 24 to 26) we started using conda, and  the interactive SAS stopped working. When I do M-x SAS, I get a read-only shell buffer, and none of the *SAS* buffers show up. I'm not sure why they aren't being created. I have verified my version of SAS (9.4) is working. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
