[ESS] knitr and ESS

I already did that,  but without success. I installed it twice from MELPA.

I will try again and let you know.

I will also try to clean up my probably obsolete .emacs

Luckily enough my .emacs is discretized in many init files, so I can 
exclude promptly some of them from being executed.

After reinstalling polymode and with the following .emacs, the problem 
persists
