[ESS] emacs hanging with ess

Well, that means a pretty outdated ess. Use the latest SVN or Git
snapshot and it should be fine. Or, just wait for the next release,
which should, in principle, be coming pretty soon.

Also, (setq ess-eval-visibly-p nil) might help, if you haven't set it
so far.
