[ESS] LocalWords, flyspell and noweb mode

I too use this feature a lot in regular .tex files (not so much with Rnw
files, but I don't tend to write them so much).

As a workaround, can you just manually put the buffer into M-x
LaTeX-mode when proofing? Not great, but I'm afraid the .Rnw support is
far from ideal...
