[ESS] ess and tramp: how to adjust path?

Hi Paul:

Sounds complicated.  I've never had much success with tramp.
What platform are you using?  I have used MacFUSE/sshfs on OS X
and it is AMAZING!  I'm hoping that they release a version
for Lion RSN.
