[ESS] Is this the proper place to report a bug ?

Hi Ottorino-Luca:

My Italian stinks!  But, it seems like there is a dependency on dpkg!?!
Please report this bug to Ubuntu.  If you want to install ESS the old
fashioned way, then see http://ess.r-project.org/  Any bugs you
encounter then, please report here.
