[ESS] Update on toolbar icons in emacs cvs?

Hi List,

The loss of toolbar icons was reported for users running the CVS version
of ESS in this november posting:
https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/ess-help/2008-November/004921.html

I still don't have toolbar icons with the latest versions of ESS and
emacs. Is there a fix for this, perhaps in the SVN branch of ESS, or
should I file a bug report with emacs?
