[ESS] Running the 64bit R under ess

Dear all,

I just installed the 32/64bit binary of R for Mac OS 10.5.5 and I wish to fire up R in ESS passing the '--arch x86_64' argument to the R process.

I can't figure out how configure ESS (or my .emacs I should say) in order to do that.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.
