[ESS] Installing on HP UNIX

Do you know the syntax for the appropriate load statement (or do you
know where I can find it)?  In case you can't already tell, I am a UNIX
novice.

There is no need for a binary.  ESS runs directly from the source.
Put the load statement in your .emacs and you are off and running.

You can also do the install and let emacs create the .elc files
for somewhat more speed.
