[ESS] How to re-identify chunk minor mode?

If I understand you...

M-n C-l runs the command noweb-update-chunk-vector
    which is an interactive Lisp function in `noweb-mode'.

Scan the whole buffer and place a marker at each "^@" and "^<<".
Record them in NOWEB-CHUNK-VECTOR.
