Try backtick instead of apostrophe: C-c `
It's the other single quote thingie (technical term) that lives
somewhere on your keyboard other than on the key with ". For me, it
is with ~ next to 1.
C-c ` runs the command ess-parse-errors
which is an interactive Lisp function in `ess-mode.el'.
It is bound to C-c `.
(ess-parse-errors showerr)
Jump to error in last loaded ESS source file.
With prefix argument, only shows the errors ESS reported.
