[ESS] Getting history access from within an R session run by iESS

That is true, from that description you are probably right. Thanks for 
that suggestion which I will probably implement. However I did not 
really give a full description. :) The other feature of this library is 
that it puts a timestamp in the history and also prints it on the footer 
of the plot, so one may easily find the part of the history that 
corresponds to a specific plot. This is not possible with no history.

So is there a way of using iESS with R and keeping write access to the 
history from within R?
