[ESS] Where is ESS?

Sorry for such a fundamentally question, but where can I get hold of
ESS? The two locations listed here:

  http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/general/ESS/doc/html/ess_1.html#SEC5

do not work for me (I get connection refused on port 80 of
software.biostat.washington.edu, and the links on the page
http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/general/ESS/ all give me a not found error). I
tried using CVS, but the connection to the server on
software.biostat.washington.edu times out.
