help with error in init.el, solved

Hi to all who tried to help with this problem

I am ashamed to confess that only now I have found out how to use the 
"warnings" buffer for tracing startup errors. There I found that I had 
tried to use non-Xemacs commands whoch of course stopped the starting 
procedure.

These commands were:
(set-default-font "-adobe-courier-bold-r-normal--*-140-*-*-m-*-iso8859-1")
(global-font-lock-mode t)                                        ; S/R   TeX
(set-face-foreground 'font-lock-comment-face       "Firebrick")  ; #com 
  %com
(set-face-foreground 'font-lock-string-face         "SeaGreen")  ; "str" 
"str"

Does anybody know how to translate these statements into Xemacs-ish?
