ess site setup

S-mode-1.07 is over 10 years old.  We didn't have good SAS support at that time.

The current version is 5.2.0beta3 at 
http://www.analytics.washington.edu/downloads/ess/ 


To tell xemacs that you are using ESS, add the line
(load "/USE/YOUR/PATH/ess-5.2.0beta3/lisp/ess-site")
to your
$HOME/.xemacs/init.el

to tell gnu emacs that you are using ESS, add the line
(load "/USE/YOUR/PATH/ess-5.2.0beta3/lisp/ess-site")
to your
$HOME/.emacs
