ess-remote and 'load file'

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me with a problem I seem to be having with ess-remote? I'm
using R 1.6.0 through ess 5.1.24 on a linux box running Xemacs 21.4 and
ssh'ing into a solaris network. Everything seems to work fine with
ess-remote (many thanks) except when I try to source the current buffer
using 'C-c C-l'. At this point and the ESS-errors buffer pops-up with the
message:

source("/home/sbonner/Thesis/Simulations/Sim5/sim5.R")
Error in file(file, "r") : unable to open connection
In addition: Warning message:
cannot open file `/home/sbonner/Thesis/Simulations/Sim5/sim5.R'

It seems that the remote machine can't find the file. The problem doesn't
occur if I use ess-remote to swallow an R process on my local machine. Is
'load file' intended to work with ess-remote?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Simon
