I'm afraid that this it not always the case. I just did M-x S+5,
loaded a function, and then did C-c C-v runif and the illegal option
thing popped up again. I had never run M-x S and this was the first
time I tried to use online help. So, I killed the bad help buffer,
switched to the main S+5 buffer, and then tried C-c C-v runif again
and this time it worked.

The following seems to be the general pattern. When I do C-c C-v
runif when editing a .q file, I get the illegal option message (not
sure if this is *always* true, but, if not, it is almost always true).
If I then kill the bad buffer and do C-c C-v from the *S+5* buffer,
things are fine.
