I'm lazy.  I'm 3 hours late.  but...

Changes/New Features in 5.1.14:
@item Yet more fixes to SAS mode, (Rich Heiberger
      (@email{rmh@@surfer.stat.temple.edu}) and Rodney Sparapani
       @email{spara002@@onyx.dcri.duke.edu})).
@item Customize support (for most Emacsen which support it) (AJRossini,
      (@email{rossini@@biostat.washington.edu})
@item ARC and ViSta support out of the box, and fixes for XLispStat (AJRossini,
      @email{rossini@@biostat.washington.edu})
@item Lots of distribution detail fixes (Martin Maechler,
      @email{maechler@@stat.math.ethz.ch})

Summary - SAS users, ESS-elsewhere users, and ARC/ViSta users should
upgrade. (Thanks to Doug Bates for providing incentive to get this one
out).

Customize support should work for Emacs 20.x and XEmacs 20.x/21.x
versions. It's neat. It's semi-complete (Thanks to Brett Presnell,
Martin Maechler for prodding).

Get it from:
        http://ess.stat.wisc.edu/

I've verified compilation under Debian Linux, Emacs 19.34 and XEmacs
21.1.10. Bug reports for other Emacsen, and for SAS, welcome. (I
don't have ready access to SAS).

best,
-tony
