Recall a comand in history in ESS-5.1.11 and NTEmacs 20.4.

Thank you very much to Rich Heiberger and Charles Berry for their
solutions to my questions. It turns out that C-c ESC r will do the
command recall and the pair of C-SPC and M-w will do the selection.
Charles also advised me how to bind a number of ESS commands to
the function keys and Rich advised me how to get help on specific
topic in Emacs. Thanks a lot for these prompt help.
