Starting emacs with R in ESS

Hi Rich,
Thanks a lot for the reply. However, this isn't quite what I want. This,
in effect, starts S every time I run emacs. However, I don't always use S
when I start emacs (I do edit other files in emacs). What I want is: every
time I run R/S, run it under ESS. Is this possible?
Thanks again, and happy holidays!
Andy
