I think you alrady have a GenomeDataList here, no?
as(gd, "data.frame")
should work.
>> gdl <- GenomeDataList(list(gd))
>> as(gdl, "data.frame")
> NULL
Again, this looks like a list of a list. Does as(gdl[[1]], "data.frame")
work?
